I found myself laughing out loud many times while reading this book. It truly was a joy to read. The community, the people, and the whole quaint feel of it. We all want to be loved and to have someone who will cherish us. Jessica Patch is a very skilled author who weaves intriguing stories that will warm your heart and brighten your soul. Her stories also have wonderful examples of how God can take a broken and torn relationship and bring healing.

She brings sweet balance and real-life issues into each story. I truly enjoyed this story and highly recommend you pick it up and read it. I was given this book by the publisher and in no way did it influences my review, all opinions are my own.

I love these books so much and before this one, have read each one three times! And will do again, too. They are so good. Patch is a great wit, anyway, and her deft touch at bringing these folks together in this precious little town is wonderful.

This is a story of lost love found again, redemption, and a small town with quirks and memorable characters. Their story is sweet, with some steam definitely wafting from between the pages at times. I always love the dialogue in Ms.

She enters a pageant to win the prize money. The hero is her former high school love who is back in town to open up a restaurant in the same building the heroine wants to purchase for her store. Jessica Patch has created a fictional town where I would like to live if I could. It's a town where everyone knows your name, is willing to lend a helping hand, and man can they plan some fabulous events and festivals!

This particular story centers around Zayda Miller and Stratton Shay. They were high school swee I so enjoyed another visit to Honeyhaven in Jessica Patch's newest novella, Hometown Honey.

They were high school sweethearts that drifted apart which resulted in Stratton leaving town for his career and Zayda making some pretty bad decisions in the relationship department.

Stratton, now a celebrity chef, is back in town for the Hometown Honey Pageant. Zayda is a contestant hoping to win the prize money to further her business. Will they rekindle what they once had? You'll have to read to find out. I absolutely love Jessica Patch's laugh out loud humor and fun pop culture references. This is a fun read you don't want to miss. You can definitely read this one as a standalone, but I would recommend treating yourself to the first two in the series if you haven't had the pleasure already.

This is book 3 in the series, however can be read as a stand a lone. That being said - you will love the occupants of Honeyhaven and want to read all of their stories.

The author always has a way of drawing the readers in within the first chapter - so that you don't want to do anything else but read the story. This novella features Zayda Miller and Stratton Shay - who are former high school sweethearts that life has taken them in different directions. However, since Zayda is trying to raise money to expand her business. She enters a pagent which by the way - I had never seen in person until I moved to the south.

One of the judges is Stratton. This was a quick read, that had me laughing and smiling. I received a copy of this book through the author - all thoughts are my own.
